Operation Highjump – Longhaul Nazi UFO’s in Antarctica

September 10th, 2009 Kadmiel 1 comment

Operation Highjump was an United States Navy campaign conducted in Antarctica from 1946-47, it was the single greatest effort in the southern most continent to the present day. The mission was, and continues to be to this day, the largest Antarctic voyage ever undertaken. It was conducted by the Arctic discoverer Rear Admiral Richard Byrd, and concerned 13 vessels, 23 aircraft and along with a military force of 4,700 men. The believed mission was to photograph, chart and extensively explore the frozen continent of Antartica, prior to any other force doing so.

The mission was of a classified nature and was principally a military exercise with military personnel. However, it also involved scientific organizations comprising the US National IGY Committee and the respected National Program which was more immediately concerned with the mapping of Antarctica to record perspective US territorial claims. The original code name apportioned by the Navy to the Antarctic mission was Project Longhaul, expressive of the lengthy logistics channel amongst the United States and Antarctica although which was subsequently altered to the now recognized codename of Operation Highjump.

The mission objectives were for the dozen ships and several thousand men to navigate their way to the Antarctic edge to train workers and trial materials in the frozen regions and also to reinforce and develop American jurisdiction over the greatest workable region of the Antarctic continent. Furthermore, they were to determine the feasibleness of setting up and supplying bases in the Antarctic and to explore potential base sites coupled with a need to advance methods for founding and looking after air bases on the ice.

In spite of the fact that not expressly declared in the August 26, 1946 commands, a principal purpose of the project was the aerial mapping of as much of Antarctica as was possible, especially along the coastline. Conspiracy theorists specializing in supposed Aryan or Nazi occupations in Antarctica have extensively contemplated about this mission. Rumours started to spread that even though Germany had been overthrown, an assortment of military personell and scientists had escaped the native land as Allied troops passed across mainland Europe and instituted themselves at a base on Antarctica from where they continued to build progressive aircraft founded upon alledged extraterrestrial or alien technologies. This base was apparently positioned in Neuschwabenland, a region of Antarctica which Germany investigated, and claimed, ahead of the outbreak of WWII.

As inconceivable as it may appear, there is substantial supporting evidence for these claims about a German base in Antarctica. On the very eve of WWII, the Germans themselves had entered part of Antarctica and claimed it for the 3rd Reich. Historical events also provide us with further suggestions as to a German-Antarctica association, for it documents that Hans-Ulrich Rudel of the German Luftwaffe was being prepared by Hitler to be his heir apparent. It is recognized that Rudel made numerous trips to Tierra del Fuego at the edge of South America closest to Antarctica.

In reality, Germany had completed a extremely exhaustive study of Antarctic and were believed to have built a small secret base there prior to the War. The truth is that there was an abundance of evidence, at the time, to point to that as late as 1947, portions of the Kriegsmarine, or German Navy, were very much functioning in the South Atlantic, operating either out of South America, or some base previously unrecorded in the Antarctic. One piece of evidence identified was of a German U-boat halting an Icelandic whaler titled ‘Juliana’ in Antarctic waters, and demanding that its captain, known as Hekla, trade the U-boat crew provisions from her available stores.

Some theorists believe that the Germans were, in fact, developing UFO technology in underground ice caverns of which there is information to suggest that this may not actually be too much a leap of faith. One of a quantity of documented accounts of sightings of unidentified flying objects over Antarctica was by Rubens Junqueira Villela, a meteorologist whom was the principal Brazilian scientist to take part in an voyage to the South Polar area, and at the present time, a veteran of 11 expeditions to Antarctica. Whilst on board the US Navy iceboat Glacier, which had set sail commencing from New Zealand towards the end of January 1961, Villella states that he observed a UFO occurrence in the skies over Antarctica which he instantly noted in his journal, even details including the sentiments felt by all those involved.

It is no secret that the German Nazi movement held technology progressive enough to create a craft resembling a UFO in shape and size, there are many recorded accounts of sightings and pictures of these German UFO’s. Even though, to say they held the agility and speed of a true UFO would be deceptive given, they could not remain airborne for any prolonged period and were known for their unpredictability in terms of navigation and general handling.

Operation Highjump has turned out to be a hot topic amid UFO conspiracy theorists over recent years, who claim it was a secret US military campaign to defeat and destroy supposed secret Nazi facilities in Antarctica and seize the German Vril flying discs, and the Thule mercury propelled spacecraft. An obscure Hitlerist narrative tells that Adolf Hitler did not commit suicide in 1945, but however, escaped to Argentina, and then onto an SS base beneath the ice in New Swabia during the early fifties where he restarted his career as a painter. According to this description, Operation Highjump, the greatest journey undertaken to the Antarctic, is claimed to have been dispatched to obliterate the Nazi occupancy there.

The finest accomplishment however of Operation Highjump was its procurement of roughly 70,000 aerial photos of the coastline of Antarctica and chosen inshore regions. Initially prepared for an 8 month undertaking Operation Highjump abruptly returned to the United States just 16 weeks after exploring Antarctica, with no rationale ever provided for the hasty return. While there is, yet, no definitive proof of a German UFO base on Antarctica, It is beyond doubt that something extremely strange was occurring on, or nearby, the ice covered continent.

Britain releases 15 years of UFO documents

August 19th, 2009 Kadmiel 2 comments

ufoThe British National Archives has released 15 years worth of UFO documents from the Ministry of Defense that include explanations for sightings ranging from advertising gimmicks to meteors

In one incident in 1995, two men in Staffordshire reported seeing an alien with a lemon-shaped head emerge from a hovering UFO and tell them, “We want you; come with us.”

The news agency says the 609 sightings in 1996 are up from 117 in 1995 and coincide with the rise in popularity of the X Files TV show and release of the alien blockbuster film Independence Day.

The files (from the ministry, not Fox Mulder or Dana Scully) contain more than 4,000 pages. Most sightings are explained as bright stars, meteors, artificial satellites or balloons. About 10% are listed as unexplained, which include “insufficient information” for a judgment.

One series of widely reported sightings was explained as an airship advertising the launch of a Ford automobile, Reuters says. The most intriguing document involves Britain’s best known UFO incident, the Rendlesham Forest sightings of 1980 in which American Air Force men saw a series of mysterious lights.

Although the Thatcher government dismissed the incident, a letter from a former chief of defense staff in 1985 warned it not to be so cavalier, Reuters says. “The case has puzzling and disquieting features which have never been satisfactorily explained … which continue to preoccupy informed sections of the public,” the letter said. What Has the Government not Been Telling Us About Ufos

July 1st, 2009 admin 1 comment

Ironically, it is so called “conspiracy theorists” such as Alex Jones and Anthony J. Hilder, who are preaching to the public to reject the idea of alien invaders. Instead, they feel that the classic UFO’s could be man made crafts, probably housed in Area 51, that could someday be used as the ultimate false flag terror alert to frighten the public into submission. There is evidence that such a stunt would work when you consider the famous H.G Wells fictional radio broadcast of War of The Worlds in the 1930’s that caused many to believe that they were hearing reports of a true alien invasion.

Alex Jones, who is a phenomenally successful syndicated radio talk show host and filmmaker, said during a broadcast that he does not believe that a fake UFO false flag invasion will occur in the near future but that it is a possibility. He did mention on one of his radio broadcasts that he did believe that if the government needed a false flag of titanic proportions it could build a fake UFO, much like the craft that landed during the Olympics Games in Beijing China, and have genetically engineered, mutated animals tumble out of it to bring the nation into a panic to give the government a chance to step in and say that they have things under control as long as people submit to martial law until things are under control.

UFOs are sometimes an element of elaborate conspiracy theories in which governments are said to be intentionally covering up the existence of aliens, or sometimes collaborating with them. Some also contend that physical evidence is swiftly and sometimes clumsily suppressed by governments, aiming to insulate a population they regard as intellectually unprepared to deal with the social, theological, and security implications of dealing with the knowledge and that people would stop working, shopping, and possibly explode in an uncontrollable worldwide panic. There are also conspiracy theories which claim that physical evidence might have been removed and/or destroyed by some governments. Again, many polls show that about 70 percent of the population feels that the government has not been sharing everything it knows about UFOs or extraterrestrial life. It is assumed by many ufologists that the government, especially the CIA, is lying and covering up alien landings and communication.

The hypothesis that UFOs are either top secret American or Russian manmade craft led to the creation of the Air Force’s Project Sign in 1947 to try and debunk these claims. As the UFO phenomenon raged in the 50’s, Project Sign eventually morphed into Project Grudge and then the infamous Project Blue Book In 1952. In 1948, the government wrote a top-secret intelligence estimate to that effect. Its final report, published in 1951, remained secret for over 50 years until a secret study of UFOs undertaken for the UK’s Ministry of Defense between 1996 and 2000 was publicly released in 2006 through the Freedom of Information Act. Other private or governmental studies, some secret, have concluded in favor of the studies conclusions or have had individual members who disagreed with the official conclusions.

According to the report, alien craft had been discovered that was capable of surviving for long periods of time underwater and would occasionally dock with a recently discovered secret undersea alien base. Ufologists claim that the label conspiracy theory is no longer valid and that this is a case of an evidential conspiracy with credible people revealing secrets within the system.

Although the vast majority of claims related to UFO sightings were officially debunked as natural phenomenon or hoaxes, Top Secret USAF European documents did state that Swedish air intelligence had informed them that at least some of their investigations into what were named “ghost rockets” and “flying saucers” had to have extraterrestrial origins. Formerly top secret files from the Soviet Navy contain a lot of valuable information on UFO sightings. Fresh from the government’s Navy files, which span 50 years and include numerous eyewitness testimony, you can find numerous documented sightings and unexplained phenomena along with a stunning collection of data that presents the most chilling evidence to date suggesting that UFOs are indeed real extra terrestrial craft and that a government cover-up has long suppressed this truth. Former Soviet Naval officers have told numerous stories of serving on Soviet nuclear submarines and being chased by other underwater craft that accelerated at speeds inaccessible to man made craft, changing directions at will, and even dashing out of the water to hover in the air.

According to ufologist Jordan Maxwell, aliens or other extra terrestrial forces have for a long time been manipulating the “ignorant masses” through secret societies, witchcraft, magic, the occult, and religion. Also, that world governments reveal these secrets to a select few who are considered intelligent enough to deal with the mind boggling truth behind the so-called conspiracy, and that they will be the ones rescued from the pain and suffering that the ignorant masses will reap upon one another.

Reports of unidentified aerial phenomena date back to ancient times, but modern reports and the first official investigations began during World War II with sightings of so-called “foo fighters” by Allied airplane crews, and in 1946 with widespread sightings of European “ghost rockets”. Most military and civilian UFO investigations concluded that the majority of objects can be identified as whether balloons of military aircraft. In the end, Project Bluebook concluded that only 3% percent of all UFO claims could not be explained as terrestrial. However, with the general public being more and more distrusting of the government, the flames of UFO conspiracies have only grown with time and will probably continue to do so.

Will President Obama End UFO Secrecy?

June 18th, 2009 admin No comments

When Jimmy Carter was elected in 1976, he promised that he would see the public learned the truth about UFOs. He was convinced he had seen an unidentified flying object, but never confirmed whether he thought it was an alien spacecraft.

UFOlogists call the particular sighting “The Jimmy Carter UFO incident.” It happened one evening in 1969, two years before he became the governor of Georgia. He was giving a speech at the Lion’s club when a guest called his attention to an object in the sky. The object was reported to be 30 degrees above the horizon and Carter described it as being “bright white” and being as bright as the moon. It was said to have appeared to have closed in on where he was standing but to have stopped beyond a stand of pine trees some distance from him. The object is then said to have changed color, first to blue, then to red, then back to white, before appearing to recede into the distance.

One of the things President Obama did on Day One is open up the Freedom of Information Act. He reversed Ashcroft’s restrictions on Freedom of Information Act requests as well as changes to the Presidential Records Act, and adopted general principles on transparency and open government. According to Obama’s memo, presented by the Electronic Frontier Foundation: “All agencies should adopt a presumption in favor of disclosure, in order to renew their commitment to the principles embodied in FOIA, and to usher in a new era of open Government. The presumption of disclosure should be applied to all decisions involving FOIA.”

This week Fate Magazine, a magazine that has been around since the 1940s and reports on true incidents of UFO events and other areas of the paranormal, released the following press release.

In one of his first official acts as president, Barack Obama issued a memorandum that could lead to the disclosure of previously unknown UFO secrets.

“For a long time now there’s been too much secrecy in this city,” said Obama. “The old rules said that if there was a defensible argument for not disclosing something to the American people, then it should not be disclosed. That era is now over. Starting today, every agency and department should know that this administration stands on the side not of those who seek to withhold information, but those who seek to make it known.”

Obama’s memorandum directs US government agencies to respond favorably to Freedom of Information Act requests unless there are compelling reasons not to. This could be of great assistance to journalists and citizen researchers, including those investigating the government’s involvement in the UFO phenomenon.

Whether Obama plans a proactive release of UFO secrets is unknown, but there is citizen pressure on him to do so, as reflected in comments made to his transition team’s website. Comments promoting UFO disclosure finished among the top 100 submissions posted to the Citizen’s Briefing Book at Change.gov, which no longer exists it is now the WhiteHouse.gov

In an “unofficial poll” conducted by Billy Booth’s “Guide to UFOs” he says that In an interview with the late Tim Russert, Obama once remarked that he was more interested in the plight of everyday Americans than aliens. That is understandable, considering the economic and social problems we are experiencing at this time. However, that does not necessarily mean he won’t try to release information on UFOs, as long as there is a concerted effort among Americans to make their desires known.

Ufologist are hopeful mainly because with the Freedom of Information Act being more open to the public than in the past 8 years and because of the President’s insistence to have government transparency, then this could be the time when everyone finally learns the TRUTH about UFOs. The truth is out there.

Uruguay joins the party

June 13th, 2009 admin No comments

Uruguay. Now it’s the Uruguayan government that’s releasing UFO files (http://www.ufodigest.com/news/0609/uruguay.php). It’s getting harder to keep track of the countries that have made similar moves over the last 10 years. From France to Canada, England to Denmark, Brazil to Ireland, the global community is doing what the United States simply will not: Acknowledge reality.

As with most of its unofficial partners in disclosure, none of the documents released by Uruguay’s air force, the FAU, were classified at the highest levels. The most restricted were once categorized as “Confidential.” Maybe that’s because there aren’t any super cases in the South American nation’s files. But the ones released by the FAU this week further erode the credibility of our own Air Force.

The signal-to-noise ratio — only 40 of the roughly 2,100 reports in the FAU’s database remain unexplained — doesn’t really matter. The officer charged with supervision and release, Col. Ariel Sanchez, had enough information to draw this conclusion: “The UFO phenomenon exists in the country. I must stress that the Air Force does not dismiss an extraterrestrial hypothesis based on our scientific analysis.”

That analysis extended to trace effects like chemical alterations in soil samples from reported UFO touchdowns, as well as a dozen cattle mutilated with surgical precision. But the really commendable portion of the FAU report is its confession that military technology is useless against preventing the unauthorized exploitation of sovereign air space.

Most notable are two air force encounters with “luminous spheres” in 1986 and 1996. The former involved hot pursuit by jet fighters over Palmar Dam. The intruders high-tailed it “at a dizzying rate of speed” towards Argentina. But no sooner had the Pucara jets returned to base than the UFOs reappeared, as if determined to make a point and rub it in.

The same thing happened 10 years later, during military exercises at a FAU base in Durazno; interceptors couldn’t corral the formation-flying intruders, and control tower operaters corroborated the incident. A UFO turned the tables in 1979 and pursued a jetliner en route from Paraguay. It drew so close that passengers were able to snap photos.

Compare this sort of candor to our own reality-challenged USAF. Despite eyewitness testimony and FAA radar evidence to the contrary (http://www.mufon.com/documents/MUFONStephenvilleRadarReport.pdf), it refuses to confirm that F-16s pursued a massive UFO that flew near President Bush’s Texas ranch in 2008. Our military clings sideways to the fiction that it hasn’t collected UFO reports in 40 years, despite regulations requiring its pilots to do just that.

Not that there’s anything wrong with Uruguay — no doubt a lot of fine folks live down there. But when you’re forced to look to the Third World for transparency on issues clearly related to national security, there’s more than the economy that’s bankrupt.
